Empowering Women Leaders: Highlights from EWiEn’s Mid-Level Career Development Training

EWiEn successfully hosted its mid-level career development training on leadership across two sessions held from February 17–20 and March 3, 2025, at Jupiter International Hotel, Bole. The program brought together 27 women professionals for an engaging and highly interactive learning experience.

The training was designed to strengthen participants’ leadership capacity through dynamic sessions that combined facilitator input, self-assessments, group discussions, management games, and video presentations. Participants explored key topics such as effective communication, emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking—equipping them with tools to lead confidently in evolving work environments.

A core component of the training encouraged participants to reflect on their leadership styles and craft personalized action plans for career growth. The program culminated in a certificate ceremony recognizing the women who successfully completed the training.

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. All attendees reported high satisfaction and noted the training’s strong relevance to both their personal development and their ability to contribute more effectively within their teams.

 

With renewed confidence and practical strategies, these emerging leaders are now better positioned to drive impact within their organizations and beyond.
